Nodular Acne Is Too Severe To Ignore
Acne is a common skin condition that most people suffer from at some or the other point of time in their lives. But, not all people deal with the same kind of acne. While some people suffer from mild acne forms such as blackheads, there are others who are attacked by severe acne such as nodular or nodulocystic acne. Nodular acne is characterized by large hard bumps. Unlike other acne forms where in the lesions form on the surface of the skin, in nodular acne the spots are formed in the deeper skin layers. Since nodular acne is a severe acne form, it cannot be treated using the conventional anti acne creams and lotions. You need a proper dermatologist treatment to get rid of nodulocystic acne. Here are some of the treatment options that you can consider to treat this severe acne form.

* Isotretinoin - This is an oral medication that helps treat even the most severe acne forms. This acne treatment medication dries up the sebaceous glands and helps treat acne. However, there are various side effects of using this anti acne medication.
* Laser acne treatment - In some cases laser acne treatment may be a viable option for acne treatment. Laser acne treatment can be used to destroy the acne causing organisms known as P acnes and the sebaceous glands. Other precautionary measures
It is important to understand that nodular acne is different from pimples and zits. Since nodulocystic acne is a severe acne form, it is imperative that you avoid playing with this acne form as much as possible. Do not use multiple topical creams or products as it will do your skin no good and make your acne even worse. Also make sure that you never touch, squeeze or pop nodular acne.
