How to Get Rid of Blackheads

When natural oil inside your skin collects and hardens, it forms a blackhead. The exposure of skin with air forms a black tip on the pore, and that is why we call these pores blackheads.

Thus we get blackheads mostly on the T Zone of our face. The T zone comprises your forehead nose and chin. People with oily and combination skin are most susceptible to such formations.

Now, how to get rid of blackheads?
To get rid of blackheads you first of all need to curb the conditions that induce the formation of blackheads. There are two ways of getting rid of blackheads; either follow a daily skin care regime or get a blackhead treatment.

You need to take a good care of your skin and follow a regular skin care regimen every day.

Daily skincare:
Every day you need to clean your face thoroughly with a good cleanser meant for oily skin. A product containing salicylic acid or Beta-Hydroxy Acid (BHA) is best recommended to care for acne skin. Then you need to use an astringent to reduce oiliness of the skin. Tap it on the skin. Now apply a good quality medicated cream containing Alpha-Hydroxy Acid (AHA) or glycolic acid, retinoids, or benzoyl peroxide. Follow this cleansing regimen twice a day. The daily skin care would help fade away blackheads and you would notice newer, more radiant skin with in weeks.

Recommended Products for treating blackheads:
Clearpores Skin Cleansing System: This is a complete skin care system that contains a deep facial wash, herbal supplements and a facial protection cream to follow a daily care regime against blackheads. It is an effective cure for blackheads.

Adapalene:
It is a third generation retinoid drug and helps cure acne. You can apply a thin layer of this gel before bed time daily and wash the face in the morning. This will help remove the damaged skin. And thus blackheads would disappear too.

Besides keep following facts in my mind if you want to get red of blackheads for ever.

You need to exfoliate your skin regularly:

Exfoliating skin helps in clearing away dead skin cells and skin oils that clog pores to form blackheads. It makes your skin less oily and thus less prone to acne. Do not over exfoliate the skin as it would cause more acne. Exfoliate 2 to 3 a week. To remove dead skin you can also use cleansing scrubs and masks.

Next you need to help your skin to not clog the pores:

So keep your skin as clean as possible. Wash your face twice a day. Make sure oily hair or untidy hands do not touch your face to cause problem skin. Always use mineral water based skincare and makeup products. These are called non-comedogenic products.
