Ice packs can be used twice a day to treat inflammation of the skin. Never pick the zits as it can lead to infection in the surrounding area also. This is an advice that most people tend to forget.

Eat a nutritious and healthy diet to cure and prevent acne. A diet rich in zinc can help in getting rid of acne because of its anti bacterial properties. Vitamin A is another important source that helps in preventing acnes. Keep your metabolism in check. It helps in flushing out toxins from the body. If the body’s metabolism is okay then it will also show on the skin. A glowing skin represents a healthy body and a healthy mind. Regular exercising also helps in keeping the system healthy.
