Acne is a skin disorder that can infest any corner or part of your skin cover. When acne affects the eye lids of a person its called ocular rosacea.

Acne condition is termed as rosacea when a person with light skin is affected with it. The light skin acne has the characteristics of bumps densely concentrated and redness on the areas on nose, forehead, cheeks, chins, as well as neck portions. The early symptoms of rosacea is facial flushing that brings changes of body temperature, hot drinks and emotion. Consequently, the skin becomes irritated, reddish and inflamed.

The most vulnerable victim of ocular rosacea may be cornea, which may cause abnormal blood vessel growth, ulcers and infections.

What are the treatments meant for ocular rosacea?
Patients having ocular rosacea should follow strict rules diet. They must avoid spicy food, hot drinks, alcohol. Again they should not engage in activities that increase the body temperatures. Protect the skin with SPF formula lotions and moisturizers. Whenever you go out in the sun wear sun glasses. For this condition you may need to visit both the dermatologist and the eye specialist. Eye is a complicated organ and we should take care of it and protect it from such dangerous skin disorders.
