Rosacea is a chronic skin disorder which affects people aging around 30-50, it mainly attacks the middle aged woman. This disorder is often confused with acne vulgaris. Symptoms of rosacea are  frequent redness and flushing of the face, neck, ears, chest, accompanied by itching, burning, bumps and pimples. Rosacea can also occur in the eyes, it is called ocular rosacea. As rosacea deepens their tentacles, they completely disfigures your skin. Roascea is a very dangerous skin disorder for the fact that it is incurable and for it severely disturbs the mental setup of an individual.

Now, let us move towards the causes of Rosacea. Although the main causes of this disease cannot be ascertained, it has been suggested by many researchers that it happens because of damage to the blood vessels. Excessive heat and cold can trigger the symptoms. Sometimes, vigorous exercise can also  aggravate the symptoms. Spicy food and alcohol can also cause severe damage to your skin when you are in the nascent stages of this skin disorder. Another important thing that can make your rosacea incurable is wrong treatment, when this skin disorder is confused with acne and medications like  chemical peels, microdermabrasion, benozyl peroxide,  isotretinoin are used, it completely worsens your skin.

Now let us move towards the different types of medication available. Here, it is important to note that with the severity in your disease the type of medication also differs.

The first  line rosacea skin care products are non-irritating cleansers.

The second rosacea skin care products are a good sunscreen having constituents like zinc oxide or titanium oxide and a topical cream containing sulfuric or azelaic acid.

Antibioics like Topical and oral tetracyline are the most preferred drugs prescribed by doctors. Intense pulsed light and CO2  are also another preferred medications.

Although rosacea skin care products do not cure the disease completely, they help to eliminate or lessen the symptoms.
