It used to be a common wisdom that eating greasy foods and chocolates would result in to a vicious cystic acne breakout. Saturated fats should not come into acne clear diet. Doctors have consistently warned of the health dangers of consuming saturated fats and trans- fats. Saturated fats have an overall negative effect on the body which includes weakening the immune system, promoting inflammation, and for acne sufferers, perhaps raising the skin's oil production level. To have the best complexion possible, keep your body healthy and take good, health-promoting nutrients. You should strive to reduce saturated fats because they promote inflammation, and will not help you in your battle against acne prevention.

You should also try to make sure that you consume vitamins and minerals on a regular basis to promote a healthy skin-enriching acne clear diet. Vitamin A is of paramount importance in promoting healthy skin. Avocados and carrots are excellent sources of Vitamin A. Vitamin B-6, Vitamin C, and Zinc are other important nutrients promoting a good complexion. In order to ensure that you're getting all the vitamins and minerals, you need to help control acne and scar treatment, eat a diet rich in vegetables, fruits, and essential fatty acids.
