Treating acne is all about keeping your skin clean and healthy. If your pores are clean the acne causing bacteria would not get any chance to flourish in them. But, there are a few things that you must know about washing your face properly.

You must follow a three step procedure to wash your face. Whether you are showering or not in the morning, do wash your face with the help of a clean soap or a face wash. You could use Exposed Facial Cleanser for the purpose which is easily available with the complete Exposed Skin Care System. It is not at all advisable to use any harsh cleansers or soaps. If you wish to go for a soap then choose either an antibacterial or a glycerine soap. These soaps are easy on your skin and have no harsh elements or impurities in them.

The key to washing your face lies in washing it lightly. Scrubbing hard would do a lot of damage to your skin. After you have splashed your face with cold water, rinse it off with warm water. To wipe your face, use the pat dry method rather than rub it with the towel. It is the most harmful exercise for the skin and causes a lot of damage to it. It leads to production of more oil and thus could result in an outbreak.

Make sure that you wash your face in the afternoon as well. Generally, a splash of cold water is enough to wash your face during the noon. You could use the soap or cleanser again, if the need be but it is generally not advisable. You must know that excessive washing with soap or cleanser could dry out your skin and cause irritation as well.

This is not all, do wash your face later in the afternoon or before you have your dinner. Also, repeat the process before going to bed. Thus, you would end up washing your face four times a day. Out of these four times, you could use a soap or cleanser at least twice but not every time. Gradually, when you make it a routine your face would stay clean and you would not need to use a soap or cleanser more than once or twice.

Once you start to follow this cleansing routine, you would yourself notice considerable changes in your acne condition. The breakouts would diminish in frequency and become less severe. Although washing is not the only thing you can do to fight acne, it is surely one of the best preventive as well as curative measures for acne.
