Healthy eating, application of pastes, massage therapy and alike are some alternative therapies for acne.

Here are some alternative acne treatments:

Beat the white of an egg till it's stiff. Then add a few drops of lemon juice along with few drops of witch hazel. Apply the mixture for 12-15 minutes and rinse well with water. It's better if you use lukewarm water.

Don't pick the whiteheads or blackheads, avoid touching them with finger until and unless your hand is clean. Remember don't wash your face more than 3-4 times a day. Don't use face wash every time, it will take away too much of moisture from the skin.

Mash a tomato and drain out the juice from the mash using a filter paper or soft cotton handkerchief. Apply the left tomato paste on your face and leave it for 20-25 minutes. Wash your face with warm water.

Apply a paste of mashed apple and honey for 15-20 minutes and wash with warm water.
