To start a big business, you have a set of well-qualified, professional planners. They are all well-paid, through your shareholder's investments. While planning a small business, the case in point is that of acne products, you are the planner, organizer and the man to implement your ideas successfully.

No business is ever started by anyone to incur losses! “Huge profits” is the goal of every business enterprise. If not huge profits, at least some profits to cover up the expenses and a moderate return for your labor and investment is a must.

What are the important factors in any business? They are land, labor, capital and organization! You need to know the importance of this important four-lettered word PLAN!After all, you need to run the business successfully. Not run away from it!

Now as for the acne products, you need to list out the products that you wish to sell. You have found out from the market that you have thousands of over the counter products to choose from. You need to make a careful survey by contacting the dermatologists from your area of operation, the products they normally prescribe. If they agree, keep a small advertising hoarding right inside his chambers, in the form of a table or wall calendar. It would be a good idea.

Never keep cheap products that don't carry the name in the market. Once your shop is recommended by the dermatologists, you begin to have a chain of customers. The old customers need to stay with you; the new customers must arrive, without intermission. The customer-flow needs to be there, without a break.

You have already selected the area of your operation. Cover the area that you can control, and plan your advertisement campaign, with pamphlets, posters, individual communications accordingly. From the point of view of price, they need to be on the lower scale as compared to the shops.

You don't have overheads expenses like store rent, fancy light and fixtures, fat salaries and commissions of salesmen. Your competitive price is the main attraction of the customers. Be in touch with your customers continuously, with phone calls and postal communications.

Another important point is from where you buy the goods from. If you buy them from the distributor, even the wholesaler, your prices are not likely to be competitive. Arrange your purchase arrangements, directly from the manufacturer.

Try to develop a monthly news bulletin, and give your customers the latest about information relating to acne products. This is one way of remaining in touch with your clients and maintaining and developing relations.

Public relations is the important part of any business.
