Pimples are a nightmare for anybody who is suffering from them. But, 'pimples' is a fact that we can not avoid even if we wish to. There are a variety of reasons for the pimples to pop up. Below are some tips to avoid or at least reduce the ugly sight of these tin monsters:

1) It is always wise to stop the tendency to squeeze, prick or pinch the pimples. You can suffer from infections and even severe cases of scarring. You should keep it in mind that a mixture of hormonal activity, bacteria and dead skin causes pimples to appear. So, follow a daily routine which prevents the pimples from growing.

2) If you are using some medications or treatments, have patience. Pimple treatments are generally a long process. Do not expect to get results in minutes or hours.

4) You must know that the different creams that are advertised are not of much use. These medications don't provide a long-term cure.

5) It looks bizarre, but toothpaste is another proven method to treat pimple from popping. You apply it just before going to bed, then wake up in the morning to find your pimple considerably smaller and more dried up than it was the earlier night.

6) Use the oatmeal absorber. You can apply the oatmeal pastes for 15 minutes, then wash your face, dry it and put on the oatmeal mixture. Leave on that way until it dries off and then rub off with fingertips and apply a moisturizer.

7) Wear oil-free makeup whenever possible. These types have less of a tendency to cause the pore buildup that results in blemishes.

The above tips are surely helpful in reducing the inflammation of skin. They are also sure to help you in reducing the pimples if you are already suffering from them. Sometimes, simple ways get the work done.
