Cold sore is a skin problem which is sometimes misjudged to be apimple. But, the reality is that they are two totally different problems happening because of different causes. The symptoms of cold sore are that your lips or their sides start tingling. After two-three days, a red blister is what you get on your lips. This is cold sore. It is a contagious diseases caused by a virus called herpes simplex. This problem usually appears at the time of mensuration. It takes almost ten days for a cold sore to disappear. Usually, cold sores disappear on their own without any treatment. But, you could consult a doctor to relieve yourself from pain. Also, avoid sharing food with people suffering from cold sores.

On the other hand, pimple is a form of acne. Though it also appears as red blister filled with puss, reasons behind its occurrence are completely diverse. Pimples could be caused by hormonal problems, imbalance diet, stress and deficiency of vitamins. Many treatments and medication claim to cure pimples, but there is nothing mush available to claim. Pimples take their time to clear off. Still, there is not a particular treatment available to control acne. Natural treatment and home remedies are considered as the best ways to deal with pimples.

Though cold sores and pimples appear to be same, the reasons behind the problem are different and the ways to cure it are also diverse.
