Cetaphil gentle antibacterial bar is a
non-soap formulation that is milder than antibacterial soaps. It is
designed especially for cleansing dry and sensitive skin and is ideal
for both bath or shower use. I give this product a still good 3.5 out of
5.
The active ingredient of the product is
Triclosan. As it is non-comedogenic, it would not clog the pores. It
does not contain any harsh ingredients that might dry or irritate the
skin. Its other inactive ingredients are Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate,
SodiumTallowate, Sodium Stearate, Sodium DodecylBenzene Sulfonate,
Sodium Cocoate, PEG-20, Sucrose Laurate, Titanium Dioxide, Pentasodium
Pentetate and others.
The consumer reactions to the products have
been mixed. While some say that it is the best product that they have
ever used, there are some others who complain that this bar dries out
their skin. Overall, this is a good product which you can surely try.
