Brevoxyl Creamy Wash contains benzoyl
peroxide as the active ingredient. Benzoyl peroxide is an antibacterial
agent with demonstrated activity against Propionibacterium acne. Well, I
give this product a 4 star rating.
Brevoxyl
Creamy Wash also contains Cetostearyl Alcohol, Cocamidopropyl Betaine,
Corn Starch, Dimethyl Isosorbide, Glycolic Acid, Imidurea,
Methylparaben, PEG-14M, Sodium Hydroxide, and Sodium PCA. The mild
keratolytic effect of benzoyl peroxide, together with the other
ingredients is believed to be responsible for its usefulness in treating
acne. Brevoxyl Creamy Wash is indicated for use in the topical treatment
of mild to moderate acne vulgaris. It is used as an adjunct in acne
treatment regimens including antibiotics, retinoic acid products, and
sulfur/ salicylic acid containing preparations.
However, certain
precautions have to be taken in using this medication. Although it is
bit costly, it is worth every dime. Customers have also rated the
product very highly. So a second thought about the trial is not at all
required!

My doctor also perscribed different gel (for my cheeks & forehead only) and the combo burned my skin at first, but in 2 days, my skin was use to it.
I used oil of olay moisterizer on the irritated area & it helped sooooo much! But overall I loove it.

I have used this product for quite a while but certain precautions are necessary as it overdrys the skin some times.
