The Dianette medicine contains two active
ingredients, cyproterone acetate and ethinylestradiol. And this is

Cyproterone acetate is a type of medicine called an
anti-androgenic progestogen. Androgens are hormones. If your body
produces too much androgen, or if your skin is particularly sensitive to
the effects of androgens, the sebaceous glands may produce too much
sebum which can result in infection, inflammation and acne spots.
Cyproterone acetate is used to prevent these actions of the androgens.It works by blocking the receptors in the body that the androgens
normally work on.
You will notice that your skin would become
less greasy within a few weeks of treatment with this medicine, but it
may take a few months, before you see a definite improvement in your

I had no problem with acne after that time but there are some side effects like a little weight gain and some mood swings.
Its a good product but should only be taken after talking to a doctor and recognizing the side effects.

Now I have a glowing skin complexion with almost no acne and also I am not pregnant. Now I almost never want to think about the time when i will have to quit.
