Doxycycline is a synthetic broad-spectrum
antibiotic derived from tetracycline. It is known for its effectiveness

Doxycycline is used for many different types of infections,
including respiratory tract infections due to Hemophilus influenzae. It
also is used for the treatment of fever, typhus, chancroid, cholera,
anthrax, syphilis, and acne. It is great to combat perioral dermatitis
and is also effective for cystic and nodular acne.
