Duac topical gel is formulated for the
topical treatment of inflammatory acne vulgaris. For its usefulness in
treating acne vulgaris and preventing further breakouts, I give Duac a
four star rating.
This topical gel contains
clindamycin 1 %, and benzoyl peroxide 5 %. Clindamycin phosphate is a
water soluble component of the semi-synthetic antibiotic produced by a
7(S)-chloro-substitution of the 7(R)-hydroxyl group of the parent
antibiotic lincomycin. All these make Duac one of the best topical
medication. It gently exfoliates the skin thus making it clean and
smooth.
Customers reaction to Duac have been exceptional. This
treatment has really done wonders for all. But to see its best of
results, you have to stick with it.
