Evoclin is a once-a-day topical clindamycin foam meant for the treatment of acne vulgaris. For its effective use in treating acne vulgaris, I rate this medication at a very good 4.2 out of 5.

Evoclin Foam, a topical antibiotic contains clindamycin phosphate at a concentration equivalent to 10 mg clindamycin per gram in a product consisting of cetyl alcohol, dehydrated alcohol (ethanol 58 %), polysorbate 60, potassium hydroxide, and propylene glycol.

Topical antibiotics are used to treat mild, moderate and severe acne. Clindamycin, used in the medication Evoclin, is the most widely used topical antibiotic in the treatment of acne vulgaris. It is effective and well-tolerated. With Evoclin, it is for the first time available in a foam vehicle.

The most common adverse effects are headache (3 %), burning (6 %), itching (1 %), and dryness (1 %). Even then it is highly recommended by its users. I would say that it is a medication worthy of more than one try.
