Fucidin H cream contains two active
ingredients, hydrocortisone acetate and fusidic acid. The combination of
hydrocortisone and fusidic acid is used to treat eczema and dermatitis
that are infected with bacteria. Without any qualms, I give this cream a
four star rating.
Hydrocortisone acetate is a
type of medicine known as a corticosteroid (or steroid). It has many
important functions, including control of inflammatory responses.
Similarly, Fusidic acid is an antibiotic medicine. It works by entering
bacterial cells. It does not directly eliminate the bacteria, but leaves
them unable to increase in numbers.
The hydrocortisone reduces
the inflammation in the skin while the fusidic acid treats the
infection. Certain precautions have to be taken in using this cream.
Avoid contact with open wounds and with eyes. This cream is well
appreciated by its users. So, you are bound to incur some benefit after
trying it!
