Aveeno Clear Complexion Astringent


The Aveeno Clear Complexion Astringent is a Salicylic Acid Acne Treatment. Salicylic acid 0.5 % is a very good acne medication that helps in preventing acne breakouts. On the parameter of effectiveness, I rate this product at 3.5 out of 5. The main features of the product are:

1) You can use this product with other products also, like Burt's Bees, Parsley Blemish Stick and ph20 replenishing face wash.

2) It gently cleans and refreshes your skin.

3) It also helps in the prevention of breakouts.

Apart from the active ingredient Salicylic Acid 0.5 %, the other ingredients of the product are Water, SD Alcohol 40B, PEG-32, Isoceteth 20, Glycerin, Sodium Citrate, PEG-7 Glyceryl Cocoate, Benzoic Acid, and Panthenol. The reaction of the people towards this product has been mixed. Some say that this product does nothing for their acne while others say that it is not sticky at all and leaves the skin smooth and clean.

So, all I can say is that it is an average product which might or might not work for you!
