Sodium Sulfacetamide

An antibacterial agent, Sodium sulfacetamide topical interferes with the growth of bacteria on the skin. This topical treatment is used to cure acne and seborrheic dermatitis (red, flaking skin rash). For its versatility in treating different types of skin problems, I am rating this product at an exceptional 4.8 out of 5.

Sodium sulfacetamide topical may also be used for other purposes. It is the sulfonamide antibiotic that competes with para-aminbenzoic acid. Sulfur has a keratolytic action, and is believed to have an anti-inflammatory effect. However, certain precautions have to be taken in using this acne treatment. If you develop new or worsening signs of a skin rash, soreness of the joints, fever, or sores in the mouth, stop using it at once.

According to its users, this is the best topical antibiotic they have ever used. It smells nice, feels comfortable when you put it on, and also helps decrease inflammation in the lesions to a considerable extent. I would recommend this topical treatment for everybody.

  • Elaine  - best topical
This is simply the best topical I've encountered in the past decade. I only wish I could purchase it over the counter. Is anyone aware of any skin care products that include this within them?
  • Shally Cruz  - Awsome Product
Wow! its a great product whicch helped me clear all my pimples and redness on my face. Though it took some time, but still you should trust it and get rid of long lasting acne. The product is capable of a 5 out of 5 rating.

Please its not that bad product. I got better results i have been using it and now I am having much clear face. Though at early stage I also felt that it doesn't work, but it started showing positive results after few days.
  • Cheryl Crocker  - No Help!
If you want to see results tehn don't gofor this product. I applied it at night and in morning it seems that it is working. But once you wash yoour face the efect is lost after some time. So don't buy it...
  • Carlyn Goods  - Works But Takes Time
Sodium Sulfacetamide surely works, but it takes alot of time in treating acne and scars. So nothing outstanding about it. I have been using it for few months. I can see the difference, but still it took time to heal.
